01The short version
Make things you have the right to make, about people who agreed to it, that would not hurt anyone. SupaSwirl is built for brands, creators and small businesses. These rules apply to prompts, uploaded images and generated videos, and they sit alongside our Terms of Use and the usage policies of the AI model providers we use.
02Never allowed
- Any sexual or sexualised content involving minors, or content that looks like it could involve a minor. We report this to the authorities.
- Sexual or nude content of a real, identifiable person, or any intimate content made without the person’s consent.
- Deepfakes: showing a real person saying or doing something they did not, in a deceptive, harmful or sexual way, or impersonating them, without their consent.
- Content that promotes terrorism, violent extremism, self-harm, or violence against people or animals.
- Hate or harassment targeting people for who they are, and threats against anyone.
- Content made to mislead people about real events, elections, public health or emergencies.
- Scams, fraud, fake endorsements, and ads that make false claims about products or results.
03Other people’s rights
- Only upload images you own or have permission to use, and get consent from people shown in them.
- Do not use brands, logos, characters or trademarks you do not own or have a licence for.
- Do not ask for a video “in the exact style of” a specific living artist, or copy protected characters, songs or scenes.
04Label AI content
Videos from SupaSwirl are generated by AI. Where a law or a platform (for example TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) requires it, label them as AI-generated when you publish, and never present them as real footage of real events.
05How we enforce this
- Our AI providers automatically refuse some requests. When a request is refused, its credits are returned.
- We may remove content, stop a video, or suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. For serious or repeated breaches we do not refund credits or payments used for that content.
- We keep enforcement proportionate and will explain a decision when we reasonably can. To appeal, email [email protected].
06Report content
If you see content made with SupaSwirl that breaks these rules, email [email protected] with a link or description, why it is a problem, and how to reach you. We review reports promptly and prioritise anything involving children or real people.
07Copyright and takedown requests
If you believe content made with SupaSwirl infringes your copyright or other rights, email [email protected] with:
- your name and contact details, and whether you act for the rights owner;
- the work you own and the content you believe infringes it (a link or clear description);
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, and that your notice is accurate.
We will remove or restrict access to content where appropriate and tell the account holder, who may reply with a counter-notice if they believe the removal was a mistake. Knowingly false notices may have legal consequences.
