What to keep in the safe area
- Your hook and any on-screen text.
- Captions: the middle third of the screen is the safest place.
- Your logo, price and offer.
- Faces and the product in the moments that matter.
Why safe zones matter
On TikTok, Reels and Shorts the app draws its own buttons, your caption and account name on top of your video. Text under them is hard to read, and viewers scroll past an ad they cannot read. The zones differ a little per app, so check the one you post to most, or keep to the smallest clear area to be safe everywhere.
