Feature
Cinema studio: direct an AI film shot
Film language makes AI video look expensive: a long lens, a shallow focus, a color grade, a slow push-in. Cinema studio puts those choices on one panel and shows them on a live monitor, so you see the look before you make anything.
How it works
- Describe the scene, or add a start frame.
- Pick a director's look in one click: Blockbuster, Indie drama, Film noir, Luxury ad, Nature doc, Night thriller or Old memory.
- Fine-tune the camera (digital, 35mm, 16mm or Super 8), the lens, the focal length from 14mm to 85mm, the focus, the color grade, the light, the camera move and the mood.
- Watch the monitor: the grade, zoom, background blur, grain, flares and bars change as you choose.
- Choose the model, Film 2.39, Wide 16:9 or Vertical 9:16, the quality up to 4K, the length and sound, then roll camera.
Film bars and 4K
Our first real test shot used the Blockbuster look on Veo 3.1 Lite: a woman on a sea wall at sunset, in teal and orange, with blue anamorphic flares and cinema bars, ready in 33 seconds. You can watch it on the SupaSwirl homepage.
Film 2.39 adds black cinema bars to a wide video after it is made, and the shot is composed for that frame. 4K is available on Veo 3.1 and Veo 3.1 Fast.
Honest about control
Your choices become precise film direction for the model. Top models follow it closely, but an AI model is not a physical camera, so the result can differ a little from the preview. The monitor shows the look on a sample frame; your video follows your scene.

Questions
Can I control the lens and camera in AI video?
Yes. In SupaSwirl's Cinema studio you choose the camera, lens, focal length (14mm to 85mm), focus, color grade, light and camera move. They become precise film direction for the model, which follows it closely.
Can AI make cinematic 4K video?
Yes. Cinema studio offers 4K on Google Veo 3.1 and Veo 3.1 Fast, and can add 2.39:1 cinema bars to wide shots.
