Add text and captions to AI videos
Most people watch with the sound off, and AI video models write words badly. So the words go on top: a hook in the first seconds, your offer, and captions people can read at a glance.
Your words, your way
- Captions from what is said in the video, from your voice-over, or typed in your own words: one line per caption, timed for you.
- Change any word and any start or end time.
- Three looks: Classic, Box (white on a dark box) and Word highlight, where each word lights up as it is said.
- Middle or lower position, three sizes, and up to three lines of extra text (hook, offer, call to action).
See it before you finish
The preview shows the text and captions at their times, with the same look and the same lit word as the finished video. Your original video never changes; the finished version is saved next to it.

Questions
Can I add captions to an AI video for free?
Yes. Captions, text, logo and end card are free in SupaSwirl's Finish editor; you can type your own captions or make them from speech.
Can captions be different from what the voice says?
Yes. Edit any caption's words and its start and end time before you finish the video.
