A storyboard for a 30-second product ad
Most AI clips are 5 to 10 seconds. A 30-second ad is four to six of them in the right order. Use this shot list, make each clip, then join them in Storyboard.
The shot list
- 0–3 s, hook: a striking close-up or movement. Text: your hook line.
- 3–8 s, problem or desire: a person in the moment your product helps with.
- 8–18 s, product: the hero shot, an orbit or push-in on the product.
- 18–25 s, proof: the product in use, the result, a detail.
- 25–30 s, offer: the product with your call to action; end card in your brand colour.
Prompts for each shot
- Hook
- Ice cubes drop into a glass of cold brew in slow motion, dark background, splashes catch the light.
- Problem
- A tired person at a kitchen counter frowns at a cup of coffee, morning light, handheld camera.
- Product
- Slow orbit around a bottle of cold brew on wet black stone, soft side light, premium look.
- Proof
- Cold brew poured over ice, a hand lifts the glass and takes a sip, bright natural light.
Finish the whole ad
- Join the clips in Storyboard (free).
- Open the joined ad in Finish: add the hook as text, a voice-over, captions, your logo and an end card.
- Redo a weak shot without remaking the others.
